The project is located in the automobile production and manufacturing base in the northwest region, with multiple workshops covering various indoor and outdoor scenarios. By introducing the Ant Robot logistics automation solution, the indoor end-to-end intelligent handling and outdoor cross workshop material automatic transfer processes are completed, efficiently driving in complex human-machine mixed scenarios, and constantly re planning the path based on surrounding traffic conditions to ensure safe arrival at the destination and improve logistics efficiency.

PROJECT DIFFICULTIES


Indoor+outdoor switching


The receiving area operates almost outdoors, requiring high laser navigation for AMR. It is easy to lose laser positioning under strong light, and requires high shading design for AMR laser heads.


At the same time, it is easy to slip and reflect on rainy days, which affects the stable operation of AMR.


Complex scenes of mixed pedestrian and vehicle traffic


There are often forklifts driven by workers moving back and forth on the AMR driving channel, with frequent interaction between people and vehicles and complex scenes, which puts high demands on the AMR's obstacle avoidance ability.


High difficulty traffic control


The available channels on site are relatively small, and it is necessary to avoid the pillars on the operating channels. Therefore, many public area points have been set up in the receiving area, resulting in frequent and frequent AMR interactions. In limited space, 12 AMRs need to be driven, which requires high traffic control systems.


Collaborate with third-party AMR


There are multiple third-party AMRs operating simultaneously on the AMR's driving route, which can easily affect each other and even cause interlocking. Ant AMR collaborates with third-party AMR through standard scheduling system interfaces, flexibly adjusts obstacle avoidance distances, and other methods to avoid congestion and maximize customer handling needs.

SOLUTION


Ant robot has planned a flexible intelligent logistics solution that integrates software and hardware for the "traction AMR QY30+RCS scheduling system" by evaluating the project site situation and customer needs, greatly improving the adaptability to complex scenarios.


By introducing 12 3T traction mobile robots, covering indoor and outdoor work processes. Centimeter level high-precision positioning and navigation, achieving obstacle avoidance perception of the environment; Automatically pick up and release goods, complete the entire process of automatic handling; Supports the handling of materials weighing up to 3 tons, and can tow 5 pallets of goods at once. Strong communication ability, obstacle avoidance ability, and environmental adaptability make it easy to cope with scenarios of cross indoor and cross workshop transportation.



The Ant RCS scheduling system has developed efficient and shortcut route planning, reducing the risk of traffic conflicts, effectively shortening material waiting time, standardizing on-site order, implementing large-scale cluster operation, multi vehicle cluster cooperation, and achieving flexible distribution and cluster management.



At the same time, it can also achieve visual management of mobile robots and material transportation information, real-time data analysis and sharing, real-time monitoring of various alarm information, full process material data digitization, achieving a high degree of unity between information flow and logistics, making it easy for employees to grasp the dynamics of the warehouse in real time.
